Apple and Banana Pakoras! Pakoras are an all-time favorite snack amongst everyone. Pakoras are made in so many ways using a variety of vegetables and lentils. Apple and Banana Pakoras were suggested by my friend Rajni from India. It sounds different because I never tried these pakoras. I decided to give it a try. I know she enjoys sweet and spicy combinations of flavors. These pakoras are crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. These Pakoras are also vegan and gluten-free. They are my favorite over samosa. Maybe one of the reasons is I can prepare them even a few days before and can be served at room temperature and served many different ways, even serving as chaat. Traditionally kachori is sold at HALWAI (a sweet and snack shop). Today, I am using spicy besan filling. These mouthwatering Kachories can be served as a snack, chaat or part of the main meal, making the meal exotic.

Makhana Matar Curry
Makhana Matar Curry is a delicious gravy-based dish. This can be a tasty side dish for formal dinner or even a quiet dinner with a few friends. Makhana and matar is made with a spicy tomato and cashew gravy. I like to serve with fresh hot puris or white rice.

Malai kofta is a delicious and rich main dish. Paneer dumplings with rich cream gravy. One of the popular paneer dishes for any special occasion. Serve with naan, roti or over the plain rice.

Masala Bell Pepper Curry, which is a Hyderabadi-style dish. Hyderabad dishes are very spicy and aromatic. For me, bell pepper curry represents these dishes well. I wanted to do a recipe for a side dish for a more formal get together. I happened to have some extra bell peppers in my fridge, so I decided to experiment with those.

Milk cake is a sweet delicacy. Despite having posted this recipe before, I decided to do this recipe again, because it was just too good! it’s nice to have quick and easy recipes that taste delicious. I make this version of milk cake in the microwave instead. How much easier can it get? It only requires 4 ingredients, one microwave-safe pan and makes absolutely no mess! It took me about 10 minutes tops. This recipe is a must-try and the perfect dessert for the holidays!
