Paratha (whole Wheat Flat Bread)
Parathas are whole-wheat Indian flat-bread, a staple bread in north India. Parathas can be made plain or stuffed with different fillings.

Gobhi Paratha
Gobhi parathas (stuffed cauliflower bread) make a great Sunday breakfast. This is my favorite paratha.

Battura
Battura is fried puffed bread traditionally served with chola (chickpeas). The combination, called Chola Batura, is a popular dish from
the state of Punjab. Chola Batura is a popular dish among youngsters.

Spinach Paratha
This is a great “anytime” meal. Spinach Parathas are whole-wheat Indian flatbread stuffed with a spicy spinach filling.

Moong Dal Dosa
Dosas are thin and crispy pancakes, made with a variety of batters. Moong dal dosas are a great substitute for the traditional dosas found in many South Indian restaurants. Moong dal dosas are faster and easier to prepare. Dosas are also known as “cheela” or “puda”.

Khasta Kachori
Khasta Kachori is a delicious, spicy, fried puff pastry. Kachoris are great as an appetizer or as part of a festive meal for any occasion.

Naan – Oven Baked Flat Bread
Naan is the most popular Indian bread in the Western world. It is a flat bread that is traditionally cooked in a clay oven or “tandoor.” This recipe however uses a regular home oven (with a pizza stone). Serve Naan with Daal, Chola, Palak Paneer or any vegetable dish.

Roti, Chapati (Flat Indian Bread)
Roti is also known as chapati. Roti is Indian flat bread made with whole-wheat flour. Roti are served with a variety of cooked vegetables, lentils, and yogurt.

Puri, Indian Puffed Flat Bread
Puri is a whole wheat bread. Made on special occasions, especially popular among kids.

Besan Puda – Cheela (Gram Flour Dosa)
Basen puda is a great dish to serve for breakfast or a light lunch. This recipe is quick to prepare and can be served many different ways.

Aloo Paratha, is a whole wheat flat bread stuffed with spicy potato mix. Parathas are made plain or variety of different fillings, but potato filling is most popular.
