Papdi (papri) Chaat
Papdi (papri) Chaat is my kind of food and there are so many kinds of chaat. Chaat can be found on roadside food carts all over India. Chaat is basically different varieties of snacks served with tamarind or hari (cilantro) chutney or with hot spice mix. The definition of chaat literally is “to taste”.

Potato Skins / Potato Bowl Chaat
These potato skins are beautiful potato bowls that are filled with spicy chickpeas. It is a mouthwatering snack that makes for a great presentation. For those who like to avoid oily/greasy foods, this is a wonderful option for a healthy appetizer with a lot of flavor.

Samosa Tokri Chat
It took me quite some time to think of a good name for this dish. I used samosa’s outer covering to make these small tokris and used potato-mattar subji (vegetable) as a filling. Though this dish is using same ingredients as a samosa, it is healthier because I have baked those small containers (tokris) instead of deep frying them. These baked tokris turn out to be quite tasty and you might even find them better than the deep fried versions.

Spicy Potato Curry
Spicy Potato Curry is a flavorful side dish. This curry can be served with Roti, Paratha, Puri any way you serve, this taste delicious.

Spinach (Palak) Chaat
Spinach palak ki chaat is a mouthwatering appetizer. Spinach pakoras dipped into tamarind chutney and serve with crispy spinach leaves makes a very sophisticated h’orderves. Your friends and family will love it.
