Mooli Ka Paratha (Punjabi Mooli Flat Bread)
Mooli is a white radish or daikon. This is an exotic flat bread filled with mooli. Mooli ka paratha is a popular north Indian breakfast treat.

Dal Puri (Indian Fried Bread)
Dal Puri (fried puffed bread), which consist of puris filled with mildly spiced moong dal. This delicacy is delicious and very festive. Dal Puri is an excellent option with any meal as it is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Serve these incredible dal puris with spicy squash, or potato curry with yogurt gravy.

This Eggless Omelet is similar to a variation of besan chila. I combine lots of vegetables including bell pepper, spinach, and tomatoes and then add in some light spices. Now you have a healthy and delicious choice for breakfast or light lunch. It is also vegan and gluten free!

Instant Oat dosa is an easy recipe that is perfect for busy families. Sometimes you want to make something that is easy and hassle free and of course healthy. Oat dosas are instant dosas and make a great breakfast or any time snack. This gluten-free dish is made with oats, rice flour, yogurt, and a few spices. I am also adding cabbage and carrots for texture. This will definitely be a staple in my house.

Urad Dal Kachori
Dal kachori is a delicacy from north India. Dal kachori is a spicy puffed pastry. Traditionally kachories are sold at HALWAI (a sweet and snack shop). Today, I will use urad dal lentils (skinned black gram) for the inside filling. These mouthwatering Dal kachories can be served as a snack, chaat or part of main meal, making the meal exotic.

Tawa Naan (Without Tandoor)
Naan is definitely the most popular bread in Indian restaurants. Traditionally, naan is cooked in a tandoor (hot clay oven). I have already done a naan recipe using the oven and I used pizza stone to give a tandoor texture. But I find at home “tawa naan” is much easier to make. Tawa Naan turns out really soft and it taste great. It’s hassle free because you don’t need a tandoor or oven. Naan Goes well with chole, palak paneer or any gravy based dish.

Pizza – who can name someone that does not enjoy pizza? Now has become a universal food loved by all! There are so many variations of pizza. There are a number of recipes for pizza dough, sauce, and toppings. I like to make all my pizzas from scratch. There’s nothing better than biting into that first slice of fresh, hot, homemade pizza.

Bread Uttapam, South Indian Snack
Uttapam is a popular South Indian dish. Traditionally uttapam is made with rice and lentil batter, which can be a long process. Bread Uttapam, on the other hand, is instant and easy to make. Not to mention it tastes delicious. Uttapam is a thick dosa, or pancake, with vegetables cooked over skillet. It tastes divine served hot and with a side of coconut chutney.

Kuttu ki Puri (Buckwheat Flatbread)
Kuttu ki Puri is a gluten free Buckwheat flatbread. It is an easy recipe to make. This is a Falihar, a food eaten on days of fast as grains are not eaten. Some upcoming Hindu festivals include Navaratri and Janmashtami where as a part of a fast kuttu puris are eaten or any other days when you want to try something different. The puris are made with buckwheat flour and potatoes, and mostly accompanied with potato or arbi (taro root) curry.

Kulcha (Punjabi Flatbread)
Kulcha is a soft textured flatbread; this is very popular in northern states of India. They can be made in a tandoor (clay oven) or on a skillet. I am using a skillet. Traditionally kulchas are served with spicy chole (chick peas). This delicious combination is known as “Chole kulcha”. This is also another popular street food.

Dal Bati (Rajasthani cuisine)
When you mention about Rajasthani food dal bati has to be on the top of the list, otherwise it is incomplete. Dal bati is a popular Rajasthani delicacy. Dal is simply soup of mixed lentils, cooked with spices. Bati is a baked, whole wheat bread rolls and the combination is known as dal bati. Traditionally bati is cooked over charcoal, but oven also works great.

Dal Paratha (Stuffed Indian Flat Bread)
Dal Paratha, or Bikanare Paratha, this is best described as Indian stuffed flatbread. This delicious bread is filled with cooked chana dal and a variety of spices. However, unlike other stuffed parathas these are rolled super thin. These parathas are a Rajasthani delicacy.

Aloo Puri, spicy potatoes with gravy and puffed whole wheat bread (puri). It is simple and makes a complete meal. This is a popular combination in North India. This can be served for a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner.
