…Hello Kavita, one reason can be you are using too much dry flour to roll the roti. I can not think any other reason. I am planning to the video just on rolling roti paratha….

…To reduce the burning when putting the roti over the gas stove, try using a rack or metal mesh over the gas burner so the roti doesn’t have as much direct contact to the flame….

…Dear Madam Thanks for sending immediate reply.. I COOK ROTI ON TAWA ON BOTH SIDES .Then I put it directly on gas stove so that it becomes fluffy like puri. But it gets burned marks &IDO NOT GET DESIRED RESULT LIKE OTHERS.WHAT SHOULD I DO. THANKS…

…Hello Aunty Yes I do use lot of dry flour because the dough I knead is soft & sticky & it requires lot of flour to roll rotis.Anyways,I will try using less dry flour next time I make.However, the video of roti paratha will again be useful for me to improve my rotis. hI Dawn, it just takes some practice to make thin rotis, just keep on trying, however i am a shortcut lover so heres tip … one of my friends bought this roti maker when she got married as she never had made one roti ever , so she bought this roti maker by saachi and it made her life so easy that i also thought about buying it , its non stick and runs on electricity so u dont have to use any dough,,,just make a dough ball and stick it in…

…I have tried many time totilla press but roti,s texture does not come out good. Roti you make using tortilla press is not soft it is little chewy….

I used Wholemeal flour, but I’m having a problem with them.
