Thank you very much Manjula aunty for all your recipes. After I tried your recipes for Rajma, pav bhaji, chole tikki, gajar halwa and some more, my husband now always tells me when I make some new things–” Manjula ben ni recipe thi karyu ne ? to to saras j hashe” means ” if you have used Manjula aunty’s recipes, it will surely taste very good”. sometimes I feel like you are one of our family member (like my mother or my aunty), whenever I need to cook something, I just refer ur site and then move forward. Thanks for making me so confident now in cooking.
I loved the video on youtube about roti making by Manjula.
I did notice that the measurements seem off.
Am I wrong or did I misunderstand?
Thanks for writing back.
Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this inquiry.
hai aunty,
why didn’t u use pavbhaji masala? i have trust on ur recipies still i’m eager to know the reason.thanku.
If you read the ingredient list on the paubhaji masala box, it’s almost just like garam masala, saunf, and lemon juice. I made it this way for the first time without using the paubhaji masala and it came out really good. I was not sure, but I just gave a shot.
Also, I sauteed chopped onions in the beginning of the recipe because I do eat them and it came out great.
hai jaya,
thank u for ur reply.after u have said,i’ve seen the ingredients on pavbhaji masala.Exactly the same ingredients.Anyway, aunty is doing a great job.

Looks yummy! Thanks for posting another great recipe. Would you please tell me where I can buy a pan like the one you use for cooking the tomato and spice mixture in this video?
Please reply. I’ve been checking daily for an answer.
This is a wok by Calphalon. If you are in the US, you can check any large department store or specialty cooking stores. You can also Google “Calphalon” and order it on-line.

Sandho,
Aunty receive many, many requests for different recipes. Please be patient and don’t take it personally if she cannot reply to your specific request.
Jaya
Nice recipe. I think you should cook the vegetables in a pressure cooker. Vegetables lose their nutrients when you put them in boiling water.
You can cook vegetables without a pressure cooker too in a steamer mesh and lid on the pot. The water level is below the mesh so the vegetables cook by steam.
You can use a pressure cooker so long as the vegetables don’t overcook and get too mushy.
Hello Aunty,
What an excellent demonstration!!! Your demo always gives an impression that its very easy and gives us confidence that this won’t go wrong. The way you serve is mouth watering. Every video of yours shows your dedication and experience and flawless making of things. I wish you cook for a long time and make people happy.
Dear Manjula Auntie,
.
You are awesome
My teenage daughter doesn’t like the taste of onion and garlic so she wants me to cook using your recipes and the dishes I make always turn out better than the original ones!!
Lots of best wishes to you and your fans………
