I have made these pedas, they were very good... But something was different abut mine. They contained little brown pieces from the mix at the end (paneer, milk, milk powder). But in the end, they were DELICIOUS. (BTW, my mixture mad 14 pedas.)

This recipe (and all of your others) look amazing. I am making pedas over my holiday break from school with my cousins.

Hi aunty

Thank you for all your recipes. This recipe did not work as planned. The resulting mixture started oozing oil after sometime and was too powdery for me to make pedas. Can you help me with this? Any idea where I went wrong.

This turned out well! Thank you Manjula ... I am learning SO MUCH from you, and I really appreciate your efforts! I think I should have let the khoya cool just a teeny bit more before adding the sugar, but I was still able to form the pedas. Since I made these for Krishna's appearance day, I decided to add a little yellow food color to brighten them up a bit -- they are quite lovely I think. I haven't tasted them yet, not until after they are offered, but they smell delicious. I think once they sit in the fridge for a bit they will attain the right consistency.
